Hunter Douglas Has Acquired 60% of Blinds 2Go, UK

Rotterdam, June 21, 2016 – Hunter Douglas, the world market leader in window coverings (Luxaflex®) and a major manufacturer of architectural products, has acquired 60% of Blinds 2go, the leading online blinds retailer in the UK, with 2015 sales of GBP 34 mln.

Blinds 2go is based in Nottingham and employs 60 people. Management will remain unchanged and continue to own 40%.

Hunter Douglas intends to assist Blinds 2go in expanding into selected Asian markets, which presents an attractive opportunity for Blinds 2go’s unique own-branded product range.
